Spring Fling 2008 featured speaker and singer Christa Matheou presenting "Following the Cross and Finding Joy" (Psalms 51:10-12). 156 women attended the event. Women in groups moved through 7 stations of the cross.

The last session ended with song ( and waving hankies), communion led by Rev. Verna Cahill, nailing concerns on a cross and candlelight symbolizing sharing your light.
